CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Nancy Writebol who worked at SIM on Choate Cirlce, contracted the deadly Ebola virus while working in Liberia.
Writebol is the second U.S. Citizen to test positive for the virus.
Writebol was helping the joint SIM/Samaritan’s Purse team treat Ebola patients at the Case management Center in Monrovia.
SIM manages the ELWA Hospital in Liberia. They have been working together to combat Ebola since the outbreak began in March.
Writebol is married and has two children.
