SHINGLE SPRINGS, CALIF. — Evacuation orders for nearly half of the homes in the path of a burning wildfire have been lifted.
The blaze forced the evacuation for almost 100 homes after it began Saturday.
So far the fire is 34-percent contained. More firefighters have been deployed to another wildfire in the Sierra Nevada foothills, just east of Sacramento. That fire is 80-percent contained.
