CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A fire that engulfed a single-story home in north Charlotte Sunday morning is now under control, fire officials say.
A total of 30 firefighters responded to the home on L D Parker Drive to battle the flames.
Charlotte firefighters were able to get the incident under control in under 15 minutes, with no injuries to report.

Detectives have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
