Carolina Panthers Put Pathetic Season To Rest; What Should They Try To Fix First?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers’ season is finally over. The Panthers started out the season 3 and 0, and ended with 7 straight losses. The Panthers have locked up the 6th over pick in the NFL draft, but that’s not going to solve all of the team’s problems.

The team’s offensive line is desperately struggling, and the team is still searching for an offensive coordinator. After Sam Darnold’s performances, there are also questions about starting QB for next season. While Cam Newton says he appreciates the chance he got to come back this season, it’s not likely he’ll be back next season.

On Monday, Newton told reporters, “It was needed for me to come back. I think I got closure for a lot of different things. I think it was very meaningful for my life and my career. I’ve learned so much about myself, this team, this city. And I think it was very purposeful.”

As for head coach Matt Rhule, he told reporters on Sunday, “What I told them is that I’ma coach until someone tells me that I’m not the coach. And the minute I start making things about myself, and not about the team, then then I’m not who I wanna be.”

It looks like the Panthers are going to stick with Rhule for next year, but that brings us to our question of the night: will Rhule make it through next season?
