Police Looking for Suspect Involved in Uptown Bank Robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The FBI and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public’s help with identifying the suspect involved in the robbery of the Fifth Third Bank. On Friday at 3:54 p.m., police say the suspect entered the Fifth Third Bank on S. Tryon Street and handed the teller a note demanding cash. Police say the suspect left the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid to late 40’s, medium build and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a black baseball hat and white tennis shoes.
