Firefighter Injured Battling House Fire

MATTHEWS, NC — A volunteer firefighter has been injured while battling a house fire in Matthews. Β We are told he fell through a floor and dropped about eight feet.

EMS took the firefighter to CMC Main in Charlotte.  That fire happened Friday night at a home on Selma Burke Lane. Β The fire started in a van and spread to the house.
