KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC– A woman died after falling at Crowders Mountain State Park Saturday.
Officials say she was hiking with two family members when she fell an estimated 150 feet near the pinnacle trail. Β She sustained very serious injuries from the fall.
Medical personnel administered critical care to the patient but were unable to save her. Β
The victim is a 48 year old female who’s name has not been released. Β
The fall was ruled accidental.
