KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC– A woman died after falling at Crowders Mountain State Park Saturday.
Officials say she was hiking with two family members when she fell an estimated 150 feet near the pinnacle trail. She sustained very serious injuries from the fall.
Medical personnel administered critical care to the patient but were unable to save her.
The victim is a 48 year old female who’s name has not been released.
The fall was ruled accidental.
