SALISBURY, N.C. — Police say they arrested a Salisbury mother for leaving her child unattended at a playground while she drove to Winston-Salem. Β
Investigators say Josephine Bombo left her 10-year-old daughter alone at a playground at the Brookview Apartments. Β
Police were called the scene because the child was upset and no one could find her mother. Β
A woman who lived in the apartment complex told police she would watch the child until Bombo returned. Β
Once Bombo returned, police were called back to the scene because Bombo allegedly punched the woman watching her child. Β Investigators have contacted DSS about the case. Β
