MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Police say two men were injured and a dog was shot during a home invasion in Mooresville.
Investigators say Harlem Gabriel, 76, was shot in the hand and Tyrone Simpson, 53, was also injured after two men forced their way into a home on Pitts Street near South Academy Street early Tuesday morning.
Both victims and the dog were taken to medical facilities for treatment. There is no word on their conditions at this time.
