Police Asking For Public’s Help Identifying Suspect Accused Of Damaging Mural In Boone
BOONE, N.C. — High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of damaging property Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, the Downtown Boone mural, located at the intersection of West King Street and South Depot Street, was damaged around 1:30 p.m. by a suspect walking down South Depot Street.
The suspect has been described by police as a man wearing a light colored Appalachian State University hat, black and red plaid button-up shirt, a white T-shirt underneath, and khaki pants. The suspect was with another man wearing a blue Patagonia and jeans during the time of the incident.
