New Study Proves (Again) That Dogs Make You Feel Better

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A new study proves dogs can make you feel better. In a new research paper, Canadian doctors used therapy dogs to comfort people being treated in the emergency room for pain. Patients who spent ten minutes with a therapy dog in the ER reported less pain than those getting conventional treatment alone. Researchers theorize the dogs relieve anxiety and depression and offer emotional support which may change how some people experience pain.

Plus, music legend Dolly Parton is bowing out of this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominations. Parton was the only country star to make the ballot this go around.

And, Pete Davidson is calling out Kanye West in a series of leaked text messages. In them, Pete tells Kanye that he’s not going to put up with the way he’s been treated and tells Kanye to grow up.
