Vegfest Jr. Comes To Camp North End

CHARLOTTE, N.C– Camp North End will host Vegfest Jr. Thursday, March 24th. The annual vegan festival promotes fresh, compassionate eating and the benefits of vegan living!

Charlotte’s Vegfest Jr. kicks off at 6:30 p.m. in the Ford Building at Camp North End. This event is free for all!

Participants can expect delicious vegan food and drink options, local vendors, and a live DJ!

Vegfest began seven years ago in the heart of Charlotte when founder and long-time vegan Shaun Bowman discovered a way to educate his community about the beauty and benefits of vegan living.

Bowman has been a vegetarian for 20 years and a vegan for 16 years. His mission is to introduce the community to healthy and sustainable foods. Bowman aims to change the narrative of vegan foods and enlighten those who are unfamiliar with plant-based cuisine on how diverse the lifestyle can be.

Mark your calendars! Proceeds from Vegfest Jr. will be used to fund an even bigger sister festival, Charlotte Vegfest coming September 17.

Head to Vegfest Jr. on Facebook to RSVP for both events!

Members of the Vegfest will be holding a ‘Vegan Mac&Cheese’ contest, click here for details to enter!
