LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Police say a man shot his roommate after a night of drinking at a local bar.
George Lovell, 58, is accused of shooting Charles Harvell, 44, after the two men got into an argument once they returned to their home from a night of drinking at Twin Oaks Bar and Grill.
Detectives say Harvell was shot in the chest with a .38 caliber pistol and was airlifted to a Charlotte hospital where he is in stable condition.
Lovell has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
