UNC Charlotte Day of Remembrance Today Marks 3 Years Since Deadly Campus Shooting
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Happening today, the UNC Charlotte community will come together to mark 3 years since a deadly shooting on campus.
Riley Howell and Reed Parlier were killed, and four others injured, when a gunman opened fire on campus on April 30, 2019.
That gunman was later arrested and sentenced to life in prison.
Today’s day of remembrance will include a wreath-laying ceremony at 5:40pm in front of the Kennedy Building.
