Suspect Placed On Most Wanted List After Break-In

SALISBURY, NC– Police say they have two people in custody and are searching for another after a home break-in Friday.

Reports say around 12 p.m. November 6th an elderly resident at a home on Garrick Road was woken up after someone broke into her residence.

Suspects reportedly removed a television from the home while the elderly woman hid in the bathroom.

After an investigation detectives determined that Joshua Lee Meece, 28, John Christopher Meece, 23 and Miranda Gail Waggoner, 22, were responsible for the break-in.

Waggoner was arrested on Poole Road and police later arrested John Meece after he turned himself in Wednesday.

Authorities placed Joshua Meece on the Rowan County sheriff’s Most Wanted list after they believe he may have fled the state.
