CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they are searching for a man that cut off his electric monitor.
According to reports, Maurice Brandon Rakestraw is wanted on outstanding warrants for Larceny From Automobile and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.
On March 25th, Rakestraw was reportedly court ordered to wear an electronic monitor as a condition of his pretrial release.
Officials say that on October 5th, Rakestraw cut off his electronic monitor. He was reportedly last seen near Statesville Road.
