Father Charged After Leaving Children in Hot Car

ROCK HILL, SC — A Rock Hill father is accused of leaving his two young kids in a hot car during a job interview. The man faces cruelty to children charges.

Police say Marcus Freeman left his kids in the car for more than 30 minutes Friday afternoon while he interviewed with a company on Caldwell Street. A witness told police the three-year-old and four-year-old were screaming and crying when she found them.

Freeman says the interview went longer than expected.
