CHARLOTTE, N.C.– One person was shot Saturday night at University House apartments near UNC Charlotte.
The apartment complex is blocks from UNC Charlotte at the corner of University City Boulevard and Mallard Creek Church Road.Β
Officials with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department say the shooting happened after an altercation broke out between two people. Β Β
Police say the victim drove or was driven to the hospital and that they are alert and talking.Β
