CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to a homicide in Northwest Charlotte Saturday night. Β
Police say a call for service came in from the 5600 block of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road around 10 p.m. Saturday.Β
Upon arrival police found a deceased woman, a man suffering from potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds and a deceased man. Β
Police say that preliminary information and evidence indicates that the suspect shot both victims before shooting himself. They say that the female victim and the suspect were formerly involved in a relationship. Β
Police identified the deceased female victim as Judith Causey, 37, and the deceased suspect as Kevin Conner,50. Β
The male victim is listen in critical but stable condition at Carolinas Medical Center.Β
Detectives are canvassing the area to determine whether there were any witnesses to the incident. Β
