CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to a homicide in Northwest Charlotte Saturday night.
Police say a call for service came in from the 5600 block of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Upon arrival police found a deceased woman, a man suffering from potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds and a deceased man.
Police say that preliminary information and evidence indicates that the suspect shot both victims before shooting himself. They say that the female victim and the suspect were formerly involved in a relationship.
Police identified the deceased female victim as Judith Causey, 37, and the deceased suspect as Kevin Conner,50.
The male victim is listen in critical but stable condition at Carolinas Medical Center.
Detectives are canvassing the area to determine whether there were any witnesses to the incident.
