Natural Gas Leak Forces Road Closures In Uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hazmat crews are working to control a natural gas leak in Uptown.  The leak was detected around 9:30 a.m. on South Caldwell Street at 4th Street. 

Several roads in the area have been shut down.  Officials say there is no danger to the public but people should avoid the area and seek alternate routes.  Check back for updates.
