
GASTONIA, N.C. — Gaston County Firefighters held their annual Boot Drive to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The Gaston County Firefighters Association held the Boot Drive on Saturday September 12th, 2015.
Officials from the department say they had a tremendous amount of support from citizens, raisins a total of $14,570. 100% of the money raised goes directly toward helping children in Gaston County.
Chris Stowe, from the Gastonia Fire Department Office of Public Information, said, “On behalf of all of the firefighters in Gaston County, we are grateful for the support of our citizens as we reach out to help those affected by Muscular Dystrophy.”
