CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is reminding the public to not buy game tickets from someone you do not know or an online source that is not validated by the Carolina Panthers or the NFL.

The reminder comes after several fans were turned away from the Panthers game Sunday night due to invalid tickets. In some cases tickets were duplicated and exchanged multiple times.

Officials say that a seller may not even be aware that a ticket is counterfeit.  That is why it is important to use caution when purchasing tickets to have the most enjoyable experience as possible.

CMPD does not recommend purchasing tickets from unknown individuals or other sources under any circumstances.
