ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Rowan County Sheriff Deputies say bones were found on the property where missing teenager Erica Parsons lived.
Officials say the new owner of the home found the bones while he was doing some yard work.
The NC State Medical Examiner’s Office examined the bones, and determined that they belonged to an animal, possibly a dog.
The investigation is still underway into Parson’s disappearance.
