LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Lincolnton man.
According to reports, Kelly Scronce told deputies on Tuesday that she discovered her son missing on September 21st.
Her son, 21-year-old Taz Damian Douglas Scronce, reportedly left a note that he was going to stay with a friend but no one has seen or heard from him.
Officials say the man has the mentality of a 12-year-old.
Scronce is described as a white male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 135 pounds. He has brown hair, green eyes and a light complexion. He has a black left eye according to his mother.
