ANSON COUNTY, NC — Officials are investigating a shooting that involved an Anson County Deputy.
The shooting happened Friday morning on Old Stanback Ferry Road right outside of Anson County.
The deputy was not harmed in the incident, but the person shot has been transported with life threatening injuries.
Officials are in the process of notifying family members. They have not released any names.
