City Council Honors Chief Rodney Monroe

Β CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD Police Chief Rodney Monroe was honored Monday night by Charlotte City Council. Β Council members talked about his contributions to the Queen City. Β Chief Monroe thanked the council and says he is grateful for the opportunity to serve.

“I’d like to continue to say to the community, thank you. Β Thank you for your support and thank you for the opportunity you’ve allowed me to serve each and every member of this great community,” said Chief Monroe.

Chief Monroe officially retires July 1.
