ROWAN COUNTY, N.C.– The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery in Salisbury.
Officials say a man armed with a shotgun, wearing a dark colored, hooded shirt and covered face robbed the Village Grocery on Highway 601 Thursday evening. 
They say the suspect took an unspecified amount of money and left on foot.
