CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Crews were in full Hazmat suits today at a northwest Charlotte business for a chemical leak.
Police say they received a call from workers on Wednesday around 3:45 p.m about a gas leak at Charlotte Bay Trading, a company that stores hazardous material.
Officials have confirmed the chemical leak to be phosphorus trichloride. The leak is not dangerous and there were no injuries or people that needed transportation.
At this time, it is unknown how many employees were in the building.
