Wilson’s World: Hanging with the Brew-Tang Clan
Students at Piedmont Middle School serve up a great cup of coffee to Wilson.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson enjoys a good cup of coffee. Today he was at Piedmont IB Open Middle School where he found that a good cup of coffee can not only get your day off right, but help with a great charity as well.
The students at Piedmont know how to brew a great cup of coffee and this morning Wilson enjoyed a cup while he found out more about the school’s “Brew-Tang Clan.” The kids in the coffee club show how a great cup is brewed and the reason behind their club.
The club was created to help Equitas. Equitas is a non-profit which provides support for education for vulnerable children in under developed countries. The Brew-Tang Clan is currently working to help children in Malawi, Africa selling their freshly brewed Chemix style coffee in the teacher’s lounge.
