Despite abundant sunshine Tuesday, temperatures will continue to run a solid 10-20° below average. High temperatures will only reach the mid 30s for Charlotte with mountains communities only warming to near 20°. A slight breeze will make the air temperatures feel even colder. Tuesday night will be another chilly night before temperatures warm back into the 40s Wednesday and Thursday. Quiet weather is expected until the next storm system arrives late Thursday into Friday.
