Police: Shot Fired At Officer During Disturbance Call
CRAMERTON, N.C. — Police say a man is facing attempted murder charges after he fired a shot at an officer in Cramerton.
Officer T.C. Branch was responding to a disturbance call on North Main Street around 8:40pm Wednesday when investigators say Devin Killian fired one shot at Officer Branch while he was getting out of his patrol vehicle.
Four total people were arrested at the scene:
Devin Killian has been charged with first degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, conspiracy to commit burglary, discharging a firearm within the town limits and attempted first degree murder. He is currently being held in the Gaston County Jail without bond.
Kevin Cook has been charged with first degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Cook was given a $150,000 bond.
Paul Killian has been charged with first degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Killian was given a $100,000 bond.
Lane Killian has been charged with first degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Killian was given a $50,000 bond.
