CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting a shooting investigation in the 9800 block of Northlake Centre Parkway.
Officers responded to several calls for service about a group of people shooting around 1 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found a man with a gun inside his vehicle.
Investigators located a possible suspect vehicle related to the shooting and issued a BOLO on the vehicle. Deputies from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office found the vehicle and made a traffic stop. They found a man in the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the stomach and detained several other passengers.
The man was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say that all suspects are in custody and they are not looking for any additional suspects.
