CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two ramps and one lane of Interstate 277 in Charlotte will be closed until 6 p.m. because of fallen trees in the roadway.
The ramp from Freedom Drive/South Clarkson Street to I-277 Outer is currently closed, as well as the I-277 ramp to Carson Blvd (Exit 1). In addition, the right lane of I-277 Outer near mile markers 0 and 1 is also closed.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes while cleanup efforts are underway. Updates on the closures are posted online here.
