Rain returns later this week with slightly cooler temperatures.

A low pressure system will track across the region Thursday night into Friday morning bringing rain to the Piedmont and light snow showers to the High Country. Temperatures will be below average in the 50’s for both Thursday and Friday. High pressure will build in for the weekend along with warmer temperatures.
