CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Lane closures on Independence Boulevard will begin Friday, April 1st. Β Crews will work to repair a leaky water main.
The leaky main caused water to collect on 74 Westbound near Sunnyside Avenue and Interstate 277.
The cityΒ will work on the repairs fromΒ 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
Crews will begin working on U.S. 74 outbound to minimize delays for morning commuters traveling into Charlotte.
Once the work is completed on U.S. 74 outbound, crews will switch to U.S. 74 inbound, time permitting.
