Wilson’s World: Visiting the John Crosland School
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was visiting with the John Crosland School where he found that this is not just a school, but a pioneer at educating children with learning differences. They use an integrated multi-disciplinary approach to teaching students with learning differences such as dyslexia, Aspergers and ADHD. Not only do they have the regular curriculum of everything that a student learns in school, but the school incorporates technology and the arts which helps the students express themselves in new ways.
While he was there, Wilson met Comet, the school’s therapy dog. And he also presented his latest Wilson’s Moment of Good Award to Nancy Lukacik.
Some of the kids talked with Wilson about how much they like the school what their favorite classes are.
