CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C.– North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash Saturday in Cabarrus County.
Troopers say that 18-year-old David Fitts, of Concord, was driving in the 7200 block of Rocky River Road when he lost control of his car, went down an embankment and hit a tree.
He was transported to Carolinas Medical Center Northeast where he later died from his injuries.
No further information has been released at this time.
