6 Arrested in Connection to 2015 Homicide

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives with the Homicide Unit have charged six people with the murder of Kynyatta Tshionna.

Based on information and evidence gathered during the investigation, David Ford III, 26, Adrian Mcleod, 25, Antoine Nicholson, 23, Andrew Tarlton, 23, and Destiny Gray, 23, were identified as suspects in the case.

On Monday, officers located and arrested Ford without incident. Detectives later located and arrested Gray, McLeod, Nicholson, and Tarlton that same week. CMPD charged Tevin Faulkner on Thursday in connection to the murder.

All five suspects have been charged with Murder, Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
