IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested a registered sex offender in Iredell County for filming a woman while she was in the shower.
On April 26th, a woman reported that she had been secretly filmed while taking a shower at a residence in southern Iredell County.
Officials determined that the person who recorded the victim was 33-year-old Lee Williams, who is a registered sex offender.
While reviewing the case, detectives discovered that Williams had also created a profile and was active on Kik. Sex offenders are not allowed to have profiles on social media sites that allow persons under the age of 18 to be members.
Williams was charged with Secret Peeping, Fail to Notify New Online Identifier, and Sex Offender on Social Media.
