Wilson’s World: Enjoying Cinco de Mayo 2016 at Salsarita’s

INDIAN LAND, S.C. – It’s Cinco de Mayo and what better way to celebrate than with Wilson, Salsarita’s, a bunch of high school kids and a taco eating contest.

Salsariata’s is a Charlotte based company and continues to partner with the community in many ways with their Caring Cantina.  They are  a big part of Wilson’s Moment of Good to give back to those who have given of themselves.  Today they donated a check to the Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte to help with their summer day camp for their shelter kids.

Indian Land High School kids invaded Salsarita’s for a Cinco de Mayo early morning taco eating contest.  It was the boys from the band competing against the guys and gals from student government going head to head for the $500 American Express Gift card prize.  Boy, could those kids put away some tacos!  The CEO of Salsarita’s Phil Friedman announced the results.  And even though there was a winner, at Salsarita’s, there are no losers.
