Wilson’s World: Surfing on the Lake with Charlotte Ski Boats
Charlotte Ski Boats Surf Bash being held this Saturday, May 7th, at Queens Landing on Lake Norman.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – If you have never surfed behind a boat, after today’s Wilson’s World you might think about giving it a shot. Wilson was with guys and gals from Charlotte Ski Boats this morning at Queens Landing on Lake Norman in Mooresville to find out just what wake surfing is and more about Saturday’s surfing on the lake event.
It was cool on the water this morning, but Wilson jumped into a MasterCraft boat with a large frog and hit the lake to see for himself what wake surfing is all about. – Yep, that’s right, “a large frog.”
Charlotte Ski Boats in Mooresville is putting on the event that includes lake surfers from all ages and all skill ranges. The event kicks off tomorrow at 9am with surfing competitions until 11am and then continues through 5pm with free surfing lessons, food and fun.
