Meth Lab Found at Statesville Home
STATESVILLE, N.C. — Three people were arrested after officers discovered a meth lab behind a Statesville home.
Officers conducted a search at the home of Kenneth Gobble Jr., 41, on Friday. Once on scene, officers asked Gobble about the strong chemical odor on his property and he admitted that he was cooking Methamphetamine in an outbuilding.
A search of the outbuilding was conducted and various items were seized, including Coleman fuel, cold packs, batteries, liquid acid, and a 5 gallon bucket with liquid. Other items of drug paraphernalia was also seized at the same time.
Kenneth Gobble Jr. was charged with Manufacture Methamphetamine, Maintain a Dwelling to Manufacture Methamphetamine, and Misdemeanor Drug Paraphernalia.
Police also charged Kayla McFarland, 28, with Possession of Schedule IV for Clonazepam and Drug Paraphernalia and James McFarland, 27, with Drug Paraphernalia.
