Police Searching Armed Robbery Suspect
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed two Charlotte businesses at gunpoint.
On April 29th, the suspect entered the Metro PCS on N. Sharon Amity Road. The suspect then pointed a firearm at the employee and demanded money from the business. Once the suspect obtained the property, he fled the scene.
On May 5th, the suspect returned to the Metro PCS. He then took money from the register and struck an employee in the face with a firearm, causing minor injuries. He fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30’s, approximately 6”0”, 185 lbs. In the first robbery, he was seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, blue shorts, and sneakers.
