KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — Police need help locating a shooting suspect in Kings Mountain. Investigators say Todd Owens shot James Smith Jr Tuesday evening on North Waterson Street.
Smith was rushed to a hospital in Charlotte after being shot in the chest, according to a news release. Smith is in stable condition.
Police say Owens was identified as the suspect by several witnesses. He was last seen leaving the shooting scene in a black Honda Accord with rims and tented windows.
Anyone with information on Owens whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
