CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have charged Tommy Harvey Jr., 22, for his involvement in an extensive series of armed robberies.

On September 22nd, a male entered the Wells Fargo on West Sugar Creek Road and passed a note to the teller stating that they were being robbed. The teller handed the suspect money and the suspect left on foot.
On October 12th, a male entered the same Wells Fargo and tried to pass a note to the teller. When the teller hit the holdup alarm and told the others that they were being robbed, the suspect fled on foot.
That same day, a male entered the Advanced Auto Parts on Hankins Road and robbed the business at gunpoint. On November 14th, a male entered the same Advanced Auto Parts and robbed the business at gunpoint again.
On November 18th, a male entered the O’Reillys Auto Parts on Old States Road and robbed the business at gunpoint. On November 25th a male entered the Advanced Auto Parts and robbed the business at gunpoint a third time.
On Thursday, officers located and arrested Harvey without incident. Harvey was charged with four counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Common Law Robbery, and Attempted Common Law Robbery.
