CHARLOTTE, N.C. β The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident on a Charlotte Area Transit System bus that sent a man to the hospital with serious injuries, the CMPD announced.
Officers say two passengers were involved in an altercating, resulting in a male victim being taken to the hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds on CATS bus 2675 going outbound on East Sugar Creek Road. The incident took place just before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1st.
No other passengers were injured from the accident.
Police have not arrested anyone yet, as the suspect allegedly left the scene before police arrived.
Information on the victim has not been released yet.
