KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. – North Carolina Speaker of the House Tim Moore officially announced his candidacy for Congress in the 14th Congressional district, covering portions of the southwestern corner of North Carolina.
A lifelong resident of Cleveland County and the new 14th district, Speaker Moore said, “I’m proud to stand on my record of passing the biggest tax cuts in North Carolina history, protecting parents’ rights over the woke indoctrination of our children, protecting the unborn, and making Voter ID the law of the land here in North Carolina. We need conservative leadership in Washington committed to fighting and winning these tough fights.”
In a video released with the announcement, Moore stressed many legislative accomplishments including reforming North Carolina’s abortion laws, protecting women’s sports, cracking down on sanctuary cities harboring illegal immigrants and a robust business climate created in North Carolina under the Republic an leadership in the General Assembly.
