Bright Start to Workweek
We're staying weather-wise as a potential soaking rainmaking system develops in the northern Gulf this week.
November will be, well, Novembering this week. Sunny skies and near-average highs in the 50s and 60s will carry through the workweek’s first couple of days as high pressure re-establishes dominance over the eastern half of the country. More clouds build in by Wednesday as a weak cold front pushes to our north, but rain chances remain near 0% through midweek. A strong ridge of high pressure will fill the void behind the front in the Northeast, which could lead to some pesky wedging toward the back half of the week. Highs should largely remain in the 50s and 60s over the next seven days.
We’ll want to stay weather-wise as a potential soaking rainmaking system develops in the northern Gulf this week. That said, the second area of high pressure that builds in towards the back half of the week may cut down rain chances and totals as it tries to keep the moisture to our south. Regardless, the best probabilities for showers start late Wednesday and last into Saturday as a separate cold front pushes in from the northwest. As the drought continues to worsen across the Carolinas, we’ll take whatever we can get.
