CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in his east Charlotte home.
At approximately 3:06 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of Edward Street in reference to a shooting. When they arrived, they located a male inside his residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Officials have not released the victim’s name at this time.
