Rain is in the Christmas forecast but your power bill will get a break

Warmer days into the weekend

Milder weather is in store as we fly into Christmas

Highs will top out 5-10° above average over the next few days, putting us squarely in the 60s as Santa takes to the sky.

Widespread rain will impact your Christmas Day plans, but severe weather is off the table for our area.

Milder weather will give our heating bills a break for Christmas!  Expect two more Partly Sunny days for our Saturday and Sunday as temperatures warm another five degrees across the board. Christmas will still be wet, but not as dramatic as the last 4 rounds of rain.

Rain chances are on the rise as we head into Christmas Day. While highs should largely remain consistent in the 40s, 50s, and lower 60s, clouds and widespread rain will push into the Carolinas by Monday afternoon. While Santa’s big day will be soggy, severe weather is off the table for our area. Most communities will see anywhere between a half-inch and two inches through Boxing Day Tuesday before the rain clears out by Wednesday morning. Cooler and drier air should carry us into the new year after the moisture exits to the northeast.
